If you need a lawyer

The legal profession in Malawi is fused, that is, there is no distinction between barristers and solicitors. Lawyers are known as legal practitioners. Most of the lawyers in Malawi are graduates of the University of Malawi.

Malawi law is based on English Common Law and also derived from some United Kingdom legislation.
